LIFT UP 2014

Lift Up Campaign

“I LiftUp my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

This year will mark Elim Pentecostal Ministry’s 99th year. We’re blessed to have been around for nearly a century. To mark this event we’re spending 2014 in prayer. Many branches have already started different programs of prayer and have been posting their testimonies on how faithful God has been in answering their supplications to him.

January saw over 20 Elim branches running weeks of prayer. Some held 24/7 prayer rooms, others have dedicated set times of prayer to run through the week or to continue running through the month.

Lift Up 2014 was borne from a firm belief that prayer changes and that if all 550 churches and ministries of Elim lifted their voices in prayer to God then we could change our nation for the good. So join us in this momentous year, and let’s join prayers together. Here are some testimonies from some Elim churches who’ve engaged so far in Lift Up 2014:

“During our week of prayer we prayed for a 2 year old girl who was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour on her throat. We have now been told that there is now no tumour, only a small cyst which is being dealt with!”
Ward End Elim

“What a beautiful atmosphere at our prayer week.”
Birmingham Christian Centre

“The prayer room has run for the past three weeks, it has been a fantastic space to meet with God.”
Portadown Elim

“Our ‘LIFT UP” Week of Prayer has been a real source of encouragement to our Church. God is truly awesome!”
Ward End Elim

So join us for a season of prayer to pray for the things God has laid on your heart. For a list of prayer resources to help you see here.
